Nowadays, most students born between 1978 and 1990 are the only child of their families. I am one of them. Personally speaking, I do not want to be the only child of my family.

The reason why I am unwilling to be the only child is quite obvious. I always feel lonely and helpless. I have ever discussed it with my classmates and they have got the same feelings as me. Even when they have leisure time, due to the generation gap, we find we have nothing in common. On our way to adults, we have met a lot of trouble on which we linger and ponder. If each of us has an elder brother or sister, we can consult him or her. Of course, brothers and sisters are not always under an atmosphere of cooperation. Sometimes they quarrel; sometimes they argue; sometimes they compromise. Being not the only child in the family offers us early experiences of getting along with each other. The feeling of loneliness delays our ability to cope with others, because most of our childhood, we stay alone more than stay with others.

We all hope to have a sibling to release ourselves from the trouble above. Probably, when we grow mature and find we can substitute a sibling with friends, cousins or hobbies, we will not feel lonely any longer.

First， working in the small company you operate primarily through personal contacts； you have more chance to develop your communication ability and the ability to handle various kinds of personalities. In contrast， in the large company there are established policies and fairly rigid procedures. Even the man at the top is only a cog in a big machine： you needn‘t make any decision and can’t see the effect of your work Second， in a small business you are normally exposed to all kinds of experiences and expected to do a great many things without too much help or guidance. Thus， you may acquire much more skills and experience， and develop the ability to handle different， complicated things. But in the large corporation， since you are normally taught one thing and limited to one procedure， you may become the man who knows more and more about less and less.
Obviously if you want to gain more experience and ability needed in business organizations and to become an excellent manager or executive in your future career， working in a small company is your best choice.

When they are studying in school, they seldom have the chance to connect with society. However, it is ironical that they have to enter the society when they graduate from university. At that time, internships give them the chance to do preparation before entering the society. At least, they will have a general understanding about the society in their psychology.
What’s more, students can figure out their direction on finding jobs through internships. As students spend most of their time on study, most of them are confused about finding jobs. They don’t know what kind of job they should find. Through internship, they can at least know their attitude on the job they are working, even they can figure out their career aim.
In conclusion, internships have many advantages, especially for those students, who do not have any working experience. They should consider it as a good chance.
